OFW Group and Biorganism Corporation launched a series of workshops aimed to support the BBM program to call every Filipino to start working in pushing the country’s food efficiency in preparation for food security problems in the near future.

The workshops were held in Isabela,  Pangasinan , Bulacan, Tarlac, Zambales, IlocosNorte and Pampanga which were participated by officers and members of OFW  Veterans, OFW Farmers Coop., OFW Family Circle and  other farmers’ organizations spearheaded by Mr. Polly Manansala of OFW Veterans, President of Tarlac, Different Farm Organizations and BC Agri-System that introduces the Agri-Integrated System Solutions (AISS).

The series of workshops highlighted sustainable farming techniques and introduced BC Agri-System App that links to Biorganism Corporation (BC) program on Agri-Integrated System Solutions.  It is the program that helps the young farmers to be accustomed in using the Internet-of-Thing  (IoT) technology. The program covers introducing new ways to manage farms efficiently, relying on organic materials within the area, maximizing data driven culture of mobile phones which have already reached even the far flung places of the country.

According to Mr. Henry V. Bayubay  CEO-President  of Biorganism Corporation and the main proponent of AISS Program “Our country needs the help of our agricultural sector. Why our commitment since we started this advocacy has become part of our journey. We refocus our company goal and mission to continue the research and development in the agricultural program that leads to the AISS Program.”

For almost 5 years now, thousands of individuals have already benefited from the program all over Luzon.

In preparation of their major launching in October this year, the AISS Program continues to link to different farmers’ organizations and associations to introduce the program.

Recently, OFW Group joined the program that will lead to extending from OFW Families and Veterans that would become beneficiary of the program. “Rest assured that our commitment to bring back prosperity of farming in the Philippines will be our main concern, especially in uplifting the morale of young farmers or we call them DIGITAL FARMER’s” Bayubay added.  

Aside from the regular workshop that happens in different places in the Luzon area, last week the AISS Program Group attended an OFW Program in Lubao, Pampanga attended by Regional Director Atty. Falconi V. Millar which introduced the AISS program that will link possible programs to OFW veterans and families thru OWWA grants.

The event was dubbed “Sama-Sama, Tulong-tulong sa Pagbangon” organized by Albert Manuel, OFW Veterans Pampanga President attended by  Mr. Dan Yumul representing transport leaders, NGO’s and  cause oriented groups respectively.
