FISMPC VP and GM Henry V. Bayubay Introduces CCNPh Cooperative Ecosystem to Advance Digitalization of Cooperative Communities at MIMAROPA 2026 Congress
A connected vision brings together cooperative enterprises, climate-smart agriculture, transportation, logistics, and youth empowerment to expand opportunities for Filipino communities.

BOAC, Marinduque — Advancing a vision of digitally connected and economically empowered cooperative communities, Mr. Henry V. Bayubay, Vice President and General Manager of the Filipino Inventors Society Multipurpose Cooperative (FISMPC), introduced the CCNPh Cooperative Ecosystem as a resource speaker during the recently concluded 4th MIMAROPA Regional Cooperative Congress 2026, held October 19–23 in Boac, Marinduque.

Participating in the October 22 program, Bayubay brought forward an approach to cooperative digitalization that connects people, enterprises, production, markets, transportation, and learning. His advocacy centers on making technology useful and accessible to the communities cooperatives serve.

Through the Cooperative Cooperation Network of the Philippines (CCNPh), he is advancing an interconnected digital ecosystem intended to help cooperatives strengthen their operations, expand market access, improve member participation, and develop business opportunities with fellow cooperatives.

In his formal acceptance letter for the Congress, Bayubay articulated the guiding purpose of this initiative: “Our vision is to ensure that no cooperative, no farmer, no transport operator, and no young Filipino is left behind in the rapidly changing digital world.”

Building Connected Cooperative Communities

The CCNPh Cooperative Ecosystem envisions integrated tools for membership management, cooperative business operations, digital marketplaces, agricultural trading, financial technology integration, and cooperative-to-cooperative commerce.

For cooperative communities, these concepts address practical needs: organizing member information, communicating services, promoting local products, connecting with buyers, and coordinating activities across organizations.

Bayubay’s contribution to cooperative development is the integration of these needs into a shared framework. An agricultural cooperative, for example, could connect its produce with a cooperative marketplace, coordinate delivery with a transportation cooperative, and use community communication platforms to reach members and customers.

This approach gives practical expression to cooperation among cooperatives—creating opportunities for organizations to support one another while keeping member welfare at the center of development.

Connecting Digitalization with Climate-Smart Agriculture

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Biorganism Corporation and BB 88 Advertising and Digital Solutions Inc., Bayubay also brings technology development and agricultural innovation into his cooperative advocacy.

Through the Climate-Smart BC Agri-System, he is advancing the integration of greenhouse technology, hydroponic cultivation, automated environmental monitoring, digital agricultural education, and the Bagsakan agricultural marketing and distribution platform.

The initiative seeks to support agricultural cooperatives, smallholder farmers, young agricultural entrepreneurs, and rural communities through access to modern production tools and practical learning.

Its proposed connection with the CCNPh ecosystem extends that support beyond cultivation. By linking farming with marketing, trading, and distribution, the concept aims to help producers participate more effectively throughout the agricultural value chain.

For Bayubay, developing digital farmers also means strengthening their ability to understand production information, coordinate with partners, and identify opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.

Bringing Transportation and Logistics into the Cooperative Network

Transportation cooperatives form another essential part of this vision. Their role in moving people, agricultural products, and other goods makes them important partners in community commerce.

Bayubay’s smart transportation and integrated logistics concepts include digital fleet management, delivery coordination, route optimization, cooperative transport operations, and digital transactions.

Connecting these functions with the CCNPh ecosystem and the BC Agri-System Bagsakan platform is intended to improve coordination among producers, transport providers, trading centers, institutional buyers, and consumers.

The envisioned network could help participating cooperatives address distribution challenges while opening opportunities for transport operators to serve agricultural and commercial activities within their communities.

Empowering Young Filipinos Through COOP-BATA

Recognizing that the future of cooperativism depends on the next generation, Bayubay also advocates COOP-BATA, an initiative focused on youth participation, digital entrepreneurship, community connectivity, and responsible technology education.

The initiative incorporates the intended roles of Adkoto.com, a Filipino social and community platform; Chatkoto.com, a community messaging platform; and HDWSI.com, which supports his advocacy for human-centered digital wellness, social intelligence, and readiness for the artificial intelligence era.

Together, these initiatives aim to encourage creativity, strengthen communication, promote responsible technology use, and introduce young people to cooperative values and enterprise opportunities.

The goal is to prepare young Filipinos to become active contributors to their communities—as informed technology users, entrepreneurs, innovators, and future cooperative leaders.

Innovation Rooted in Service and Shared Prosperity

Bayubay’s participation in the MIMAROPA Congress highlighted a development direction that brings technological advancement together with the cooperative principles of participation, collaboration, and shared benefit.

His advocacy recognizes that digitalization requires more than access to platforms. It also requires education, organizational readiness, meaningful partnerships, and tools that respond to members’ everyday needs.

The CCNPh Cooperative Ecosystem offers a framework for pursuing that direction: connecting cooperative services with agriculture, commerce, mobility, and youth development so that progress in one sector can create opportunities in another.

Bayubay expressed his appreciation to the Cooperative Development Authority MIMAROPA Extension Office, the MIMAROPA Regional Cooperative Development Council, and the Congress organizers for the opportunity to contribute to the regional cooperative dialogue.

As cooperative communities prepare for an increasingly digital economy, his advocacy carries a clear aspiration: farmers equipped with knowledge, enterprises connected to markets, transportation linked to opportunity, and young people empowered to lead.

Through cooperation and purposeful innovation, the vision is to build communities where technological progress translates into stronger livelihoods, wider participation, and prosperity shared among members.

Mabuhay ang Kooperatiba! Mabuhay ang COOP-BATA! Mabuhay ang MIMAROPA!
