LA UNION, Philippines-- Filipino
Land Development Corporation (FLDC) and directors of Integrated Products
Marketers Association of the Philippines (IPMAP) meet officials of
Landbank of the Philippines, Quezon Ave. San Fernando City, La Union Branch
yesterday to discuss a possible acquisition of a loan in connection with
development of Greenhouse Paradise Country Farm – La Union.
The
meeting was attended by Mamerta Malubay Padolina -Landbank Branch Head, Susan
De Vera –Landbank Account Officer, Fe Vicente –IPMAP BOD, Emerita C.
Pecson – IPMAP Chairman and Henry V. Bayubay –FLDC President/CEO
who presented the initial introduction of Greenhouse Paradise Country Farms which
aim to start the era of progressive farm subdivision in the Philippines.
According
to president of FLDC, the Greenhouse Paradise Country Farms (GPCF) will be the
alternative way to maximizing the unused land of farmers that had been awarded
for several decades. According to Bayubay, one owner of land in Quezon province
who wanted to join the program said, “Kinamatayan na po ng Tatay namin ang
lupang yan, hanggang ngayon po di parin natratransfer sa aming magkakapatid,
taxdec parin po, wala po kasing pera panglakad, ” (“Our father died in that
land, until now the land has not been transferred yet to the heirs since we
don’t have the money to process the land”).
According
to Bayubay, “our data showed that around thousands of land titles have been
awarded to individuals but due to lack of financial capabilities, most of
the land was undeveloped or abandoned by the heirs of dead farmers, since
the generation of young farmers now were depleting drastically ”.
Filipino
Land Development Corporation believes that with the cooperation of
consortium of companies behind the plan and the two organizations, the Integrated
Products Marketers Association of the Philippines (IPMAP) and Digital Farming
Association of the Philippines (DFAP) and with the support of financial institution
like the Landbank, we will make this dream come true, added by the
president of FLDC.
Greenhouse
Paradise Country Farms is a master plan focused on farm tourism concept
supported by SMART farming technology developed by BB 88 Advertising and Digital
Solutions Inc. which aims to support government plans to empower agriculture in
the Philippines. The GPCF concept provides an atmosphere of sustainable
environment that will invite Filipino retirees to live conveniently in their
motherland. The GPCF features modern farmhouses run by solar power,
clubhouse, sports facilities, multi-purpose hall, health care facility,
GPCF technical facility and Bagsakan Digital Trading Center.
According
to www.enjoytravel.com the Philippines
ranked its best places to retire based on a number of factors, namely:
quality of life, cost of living, rent index, restaurant price index, average annual
temperature, the easiness of obtaining a visa or residency, healthcare,
hospitality, language barriers, and the range of things to do. Soon GPCF would
be one of the best options you can have in the Philippines.
