DENSO Philippines Corporation opened its P60
million hydroponic Smart AgriTech Farm in Ibaan, Batangas, which produces quality vegetables and
fruits.
DNPH has been growing quality crops in a
climate, and pest-resilient greenhouse in Batangas, Philippines.
It uses recirculating hydroponic technology and
minimizes the use of chemicals, and is actively researching how to engage in carbon credits trading.
DNPH, with its partner DENSO TECHNO Phils
(DTPH), will further improve on the innovation and modernization of Philippine agriculture through
a prototype testing of its Automation and IoT system. The system will be low-cost and will help Filipino
farmers increase productivity and income.
The Batangas Smart AgriTech Farm uses
innovative farming solutions, including returnable packaging, to ensure that clients get only superior quality
goods.
