Pamantolon Sagingan at Sakahan Farmers Association Inc. (PSSFAI), an affiliate member of Integrated Products Marketers Association of the Philippines (IPMAP) celebrates its 1st year founding anniversary last August 27, 2023, attended by government agencies and civic organizations during the tree planting project held at Taytay, Palawan.
PSSFAI joined by Sitio Monte Vista Community Association Inc. (SMCAI) and Taytay Palawan Public Market Association Inc. (TPPMAI) also member of IPMAP showed their support to tree planting activities at Sitio Bancala, highlighted the celebration was the theme “IPMAP & PSSFAI Tungo Sa Masagana at Modernung Pagsasaka” which aim to preserved our soil and environment thru the help of farmers group, NGO’s and government agencies. Representative from Taytay, Palawan 401st PNP-PRMFB Manuever Company, Kagawad Mayola Destura, Kagawad Roy Jagmis and Kagawad Eleazar of Pamantolon Barangay Council. More than 400 pieces of seedling of Narra was donated by MENRO Taytay Municipal who represented by Johi Laurente and Rudy Pega.
The Tree planting event was followed a celebration program proper at Barangay Hall of Pamantolon, featuring a short message from Sangguniang Bayan Bots Felezarte and Ivan Rapsing, pastor life church, prime supporter of the PSSFAI, and several guest from different organization, and MENRO member who deliver an inspiring message to members who attended the event.
The event was spearheaded by Adrian Ramosa, Chairman of IPMAP North Palawan and PSSFAI President who ended the event with closing remarks and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the event. Ramosa also extended his appreciation and special thanks for the support of the following to Delma Eder, Vice Mayor and the Municipal Council for giving us the opportunity to become accredited farmer’s organization of Tatay, Palawan; Rodel Dorado, PIO of DENR Taytay; Merlinda Nacasi, Brgy. Captain; PCPT Marvin L. Estigay, OIC 401st PNP-PRMFB Manuever Company Taytay, Palawan; PMAJ Victor J. Paulino MPS Taytay, Palawan, OIC respectively.
