IPMAP Execs. meet LBP to execute loan for 65 Million BDTC-PM Construction

NPO Team

San Fernando City, La Union - Integrated Products Marketers Associations of the Philippines, IPMAP and Filipino Land Development Corporation (FLDC) group forwarded the loan documents to Land Bank of the Philippines yesterday to realize the first step in the construction of the first Bagsakan Digital Trading Center-Pecson Market (BDTC-PECSON) in Barangay, Payatas, Quezon City.

The submission was attended by Myra Myrtha M. Padolina - Head, La Union Lending Center and IPMAP Chairman Emerita C. Pecson who is also the owner of Pecson Market and property with other members of IPMAP namely Fe Vicente - IPMAP BOD, President & CEO of FLDC Mr. Henry V. Bayubay who is also the IPMAP-Secretary General.

During our phone interview with Pecson, she believed that BDTC-PM will be the first step in bringing change to our food cycle problem. The Bagsakan system that we developed or the BC Agri-System will be the solution to our Agri Problem, especially the distribution of farmers produced. "Isa kasi malaking problema ng farmers ay iyong pagbiling tamang presyo at pag-hakot ng kanilang produkto sa tamang halaga, sa pag-deliver at tamang centrong kalakalan na ang nasa puso ay masagip at matulungan ang mga farmers" according to Pecson.

The BDTC-PM will be the first in Quezon City and in the Philippines which is a trading center for farmers that will be managed by fully computerized transactions. This will be powered by Agri-Integrated System Solutions - BC-Agri-System which was developed to bring down the cost of logistics and minimizing the wastages for the farmers and distributors.

Along with the program BDTC-PM, the  IPMAP Group supported  the "Jeepney and Habal-Habal Heritage Recovery Program" was launched by Agri-Integrated System Solutions which aims to support the phaseout of our Transport Icon in the Philippines. The program will link the logistics side or Bagsakan Delivery System which is incorporated to the program.

BDTC-PM main business is to open space for trading centers for agricultural products divided into several section crops ready for delivery for wholesale clients online, a community retail market and warehouse at the second level. The 3rd level will house the food court and dining area and commercial areas. Multi-Purpose Hall/Training Center and the Corporate Office will be on the 4th level. Also on the same level is the MIGS Masters Institute for Graphic Inc. that will offer basic instructional program for livelihood within Payatas community, and the introduction of the LEAP Learn Earn Approach Program thru the digital farming concept where students will learn to use the BC Agri-System which introduces SMART Farming Technology.

Morning Star Hill Garden Resort in 5th Level will be the first sky resort in the heart of Barangay Payatas. It will feature a fashionable mini pool, several cottages around the pool area, a stage and bar. The resort will house modern mini villas for those families who wanted to stay overnight in the resort. Private parties and events can accommodate around 50 to 150 persons.

Pecson added that the construction will start possibly by June or earlier this year once the additional fund is released.
