IPMAP – North Palawan Chapter Held Oath Taking Ceremony

(Taytay, Palawan, Philippines) - Integrated Products Marketers Association of the Philippines (IPMAP) - North Palawan Chapter held an oath taking ceremony last May 14, 2023 at Brgy. Pamantolon, Taytay, Palawan organized by Pamantolon Sagingan at Sakahan Farmers Association Inc. (PSSFAI) which was participated by farm and community organization officers and members, government officials and national officers of IPMAP which aim to support the agricultural program of the government.

The oath taking ceremony highlighted the presentation of IPMAP mission and vision by the National -SecGen. Henry V. Bayubay, following an opening remark from the IPMAP-National Chairman Emerita C. Pecson and an inspiration message by the National – Legal Counsel Atty. Arnel Berato. The event was also attended by guests who delivered their short messages namely Municipal Councilor Edilberto Fizarte and Deputy Chief PNP of Taytay, Palawan - Lt. Eric Dalisay on behalf of  PMIJ Bronzon Caramto.

IPMAP North Palawan Chapter also forwarded a certificate of appreciation to Local officials  of Taytay who supported the event namely Vice Mayor Delma P. Edep, Coun. Ovinal L. Salvame, MAO Hernan Fenix and the Brgy. Captain of Pamantolon Hon. Merlina B. Nacasi who is also a member of PSSFAI.

PSSFAI President and also Chairman of IPMAP – North Palawan Chapter Adrian Ramosa asked officers and members of the organizations who joined the affair should start working hand in hand to deliver the necessary things needed by the community of Palawan specially the farmers. Taytay, Palawan should be the model town by upgrading our knowledge in organic farming and trading our crops which IPMAP is extending to us, Ramosa added.

PSSFAI is a registered organization under Security Exchange Commission (SEC) which the main goal is to become the forefront of revitalizing the farmers and farm organizations in the northern part of Palawan by linking to national private organizations to support farmers and adapt advanced technology in agriculture that will open wide opportunities to members.

Ten organizations from different parts of Palawan have already registered to become members of IPMAP who joined the oath taking ceremony as follows Sitio Monte Vista Community Association Inc., Taytay Palawan Public Market Association Inc., Apurawa Reve Upland Farmers Association (ARUFA), Irrigators Association (IA), Arowpa Association, Lagi Logging Maguuma Association (LLMA) , Nagkakaisang Tribu sa Daan (NTD), Sto. Niño Manggahan Irrigators Association (SMIA), Sitio Ariman-an Farmers Association (SAFA) and Barangay Proper Talog Farmers Association (BPTFA).

Last year, more than hundreds of farmers already benefited from a series of workshops regarding crop production (organic farming), digital farming and pest management solutions wherein more than 10 organizations received free soil testing kits to help them identify the condition of their farmlands. The workshop was spearheaded by IPMAP, Agri-Integrated System Solutions (AISS) Program Group and Biorganism Corporation team with the support PSSFAI and the Barangay Council of Aporawan, Aborlan  headed by  Barangay Captain Danilo B. Cortez Sr.

IPMAP mission is to improve rural livelihoods in farming and sustainable food systems in the Philippines through the use of digital technology, envision active agriculture, comprehensive and sustainable rural economies, thru the help of Filipino traders and marketers where the community live away from poverty and hunger and to be the most successful and respected organization in the trading, marketing, selling, manufacturing and online business in the Philippines.
